Our Stories

Across the United States, all-black towns helped form the fabric of our nation. Great thinkers, musicians, community leaders and entrepreneurs got their start in all-black towns. The towns were places where anyone could be judged not by skin color, but by their deeds as a human. It's no wonder so many success stories came from these small towns. Check out the stories below, and please add your story. Help us rewrite history together.
